Your predicted finish is the sum of 8 × 1km runs, all 8 stations, and your roxzone buffer applied once per station. Real race-day times vary with fatigue, queueing, and pacing - use this as a benchmark, not a guarantee.
How to use this calculator
- Enter your average 1km run pace - the speed you can realistically hold across 8 runs while fatiguing, not your fresh 1km time.
- Fill in your best estimate for each of the 8 stations. If you've never done one, leave the mid-pack default.
- Set a roxzone buffer for the transition between each station and the next run (10-20 seconds is typical). It's applied once per station, eight times total.
- The prediction and breakdown update instantly. Read the cumulative column to see where you'll be at each checkpoint.
- Print it and bring it race-day, or come back after training to see your number drop.
Then plan your race
Got a finish time you're happy with? Flip it around: the Hyrox pacing calculator takes a goal time and gives you the exact target splits to hit it. And once you've raced, track your real splits in the logbook so each prediction gets sharper than the last.
